This car is a touring RS that has been converted to 2.8 RSR specs. The car has
2.8 RSR body work (fiberglass) and the chassis has been reinforced and strengthened for racing. The suspension consists of RSR front struts with springs and 930 aluminum rear trailing arms with coilover dampers.The brakes are 930 4 piston calipers all around and drilled rotors. The interior of the car has a full rollcage, two FIA approved race seats, a rally timer and a hydraulic turning brake. The car has a 120 l factory race fuel tank and a fire suppresion system.
The body of the car is in the paint shop receiving a fresh paint inside and out. Any body repairs that are needed are also being taken care of at this time.
The engine is also being disassembled and rebuilt with any new parts that are needed. The gearbox has been completely rebuilt already. All of the work is being performed by a well known and reputable shop in Germany. The car will be reassembled and ready for racing this season.
